Greetings and Salutations!
Welcome to an Art based fan club dedicated to Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of the War of the Worlds! This is where you can express your impressions and imagination of Jeff Wayne’s Musical as well as artworks inspired by H.G Wells War of the Worlds.

This year, 2009, marks thirty years in Martian domination in the Music Industry, and hopefully for another thirty years the Martian will still dominate.

Joining
To join this club you need to a least watch us, and that’s all you have to do as it this club will be updated with the latest news about going’s on with the musical and its spin off adventures (like the CGI Movie).

This is also the place to show off your artwork from the musical to others. But as with every club there are always rules...


You must watch before you join.

Be a fan of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds or at least the book

You can talk about other adaptations but if it’s only to abuse and rant about how much you hate the movies, etc... you will be blocked. People have different opinions and you must respect them.

No abusing other members! If you abuse other people’s artwork and say nasty things about it, you will be blocked and the artist will be notified.

Don’t fave or comment the artwork posted up here, fave the original Artwork please.

Let’s not have an over flow of Spielberg or other movie concept Tripods (Spielberg tripods fighting Jeff Wayne Tripods then yes please!)

Post the clubs’ avatar on your journal.

And last but most importantly, have fun and use you imaginations! (And if you want sing!!! )




Submissions
Send a note to the club with your Devination attached and we’ll get it into the clubs gallery as fast as we possibly can.

The Club’s Watermark will be rendered over the top of artworks, so that people will go to your page instead of glancing at ours and not bothering with the original. We hope that you will not mind as this is to ensure you get full credit for your work. And all the faves you deserve.

Where’re still recruiting Martians and Artillerymen/women but all of the prizes will include having your Artwork featured on Jeff Wayne’s Official Website in the Fan Creations forum, so other people outside DeviantART can view your wonderful work. As well as that, your artwork will be featured on our page until the next contest.
